This site exists because most cutting board reviews are affiliate pages that rank boards by commission and repeat the same microplastics headline without reading the study. We read the research, check the steel grade, and tell you where the health claims are solid and where they're hype. Sometimes that means telling you the $13 board is all you need.

How We Evaluate

Every recommendation is built from published manufacturer specifications, steel-grade documentation, aggregated owner feedback across retail platforms, and the actual peer-reviewed research behind the microplastics claims. When we haven't personally tested a board, we say so. When a spec or a health claim is marketing rather than substance, we say that too.

On the Health Claims

We take care with the microplastics topic. We report what the studies found and, just as importantly, what they don't prove. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and we don't claim any product prevents disease.
